Peisey-Vallandry situated between Les Arcs and the Vanoise National Park consists of several villages: first you reach the traditional mountain villages of Peisey - with direct connection to the ski area by ski lift - and Nancroix. Further up you come to the ski resorts of Plan Peisey and Vallandry (1600 m) located at the ski slopes. The wooden buildings have cosy balconies and walls in bright colours. Widely dispersed chalets fit together harmoniously. There are broad panoramic views of the Beaufortain mountains and over the Tarentaise valley. The diversity of ski pistes, the forests and the possibility to change from busy ski slopes to calm and quiet nature without any transition - doubtlessly, this is why Vallandry gives the whole area of Les Arcs its charm.
