Bever (1708m)
Bever is a small, family-friendly village in the upper Engadine with about 600 inhabitants. It is situated on approx. 1700 m. Many of its buildings date back from the 17th and 18th centuries and have been lovingly restored. Some of the houses have works of art such as rosettes, animals and waves - the so-called sgraffito - scratched into the plaster, this is typical of the Engadine. If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place for you. In Bever there is a supermarket, ATM and restaurants, as well as a sports shop and an ice-skating rink. You will find a toboggan run at Muottas Muragl, and a bank in Samedan.
And if you prefer a bit of hustle and bustle and luxury, you can reach the famous Sankt Moritz in about 10 minutes by car. Here you will find clubs, an indoor swimming pool, a heated outdoor pool, a cinema and, of course, a ski school, ski kindergarten, etc.
