Leogang-Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Fieberbrunn (800m -
2096m)
Home of Lässig - that's the slogan of the Leogang Saalbach-Hinterglemm Fieberbrunn ski area. The world-famous community in the Glemmtal (Austria, area of Salzburg) with its perfectly connected neighbouring areas offers 270 km of slopes and 70 lifts and cable cars for skiing and snowboarding. The family ski resort of Leogang with its northern slopes is a popular entry into the area, especially as a second lift access was created with the modern Steinbergbahn. The attractive ski village Fieberbrunn - in the Kitzbühel Alps - as the newest member of the merger lies already in Tyrol. In winter and summer you can visit Zell am See or Kaprun with the glacier on the Kitzsteinhorn.
Skiers can enjoy themselves on fast world championship slopes, carve over vast snowfields or try out gentle family ski fields. Medium and good skiers can explore the area on several extensive laps. Each piste leads to the next valley station. Top ski mountains are the demanding Schattberg and the Zwöferkogel. Fieberbrunn is a stronghold for freeriders. In the area there is a large selection of rustic or stylish huts, such as the cosy wooden hut Pfefferalm, which offers a great panoramic view. After skiing you can do après-ski - the possibilities are diverse.
In summer, the area is great for mountain bikers, with spectacular trails and routes, with or without use of the cable car.
