Montchavin at 1,250 m and Les Coches at 1,450 m are two places in the heart of the Paradiski area with direct lift connection. Just above Montchavin is the Vanoise Express, a modern two-storey cable car linking Les Arcs and La Plagne, making Paradiski one of the largest connected ski resorts in the world with more than 400 kilometres of slopes. While Les Coches has established itself as a modern winter sports resort, Montchavin is an old mountain village characterized by its traditional architecture.

Winter activities
From Montchavin and Les Coches you have access to one of the largest ski resorts in the world. There is enough to choose for every skill level. Also, mogul skiers and tour and off-piste skiers find enjoyment. There are 16 km of cross-country ski runs at approx. 1,500 m. Access to the cross-country ski runs via the Montchavin chairlift or the Lac Noir chair lift from Les Coches. Winter hiking trails start right in Montchavin and Les Choches. Adventurous people can try their hand at telemark skiing and those who are looking for the extraordinary book a dog sled ride.

Children
Montchavin is distinguished by its child-friendliness and has therefore been awarded the Famille Plus Label. During the winter season, the children can have fun on the children's ski slope and on the children's toboggan run.

The year-round opened Espace Paradisio with outdoor swimming pool in the summer offers diversity to all mountain sports activities. Children will love the slides and water games, while adults will appreciate the wellness area with steam bath, sauna, jacuzzi and massage facilities.

From easy hikes for families to heavy summit climbs, there are many opportunities for hiking enthusiasts. Bicyclists can rent mountain bikes on site and master many trail and downhill runs.
