The central location of L'Orée des Cimes, right at the heart of the village of Vallandry, is to the advantage of all of its guests. Visitors will find themselves with ski runs virtually on their doorstep, whilst simultaneously enjoying the breath-taking scenery. Along with the 110 apartments, which are housed in 6 large chalets, L'Orée des Cimes also provides a cosy fireplace lounge with a pool table, as well as a modern "wellness" area. Here holidaymakers can chill-out in the heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna or steam pool, or opt for a workout in the fitness studio. As desired, guests can then also treat themselves to a range of massages and beauty treatments in the adjacent spa. The furnishings of each individual apartment leave nothing to be desired: satellite TV, free wireless internet access, telephone, balcony, towel warmer, hair dryer and ski cupboard. A comfortable stay is assured by many hotel-style services, including freshly made-up beds upon arrival, fresh hand towels, included final cleaning (of all areas except for the kitchen), and a "kitchen set" with fresh tea towels and cleaning products. The residence's many other free services are also not to be overlooked. These include, for example, the option of hiring out various extra pieces of equipment from reception, such as baby cots, high chairs, stone grills and raclette/fondue sets. For those partial to fresh bread for breakfast there is the bread delivery service, which means bread can be ordered each day at reception then picked up there the following morning. Guests are welcome to leave their luggage at reception before checking in on arrival day and after checking out on departure day, allowing to make full use of their time out on the ski slopes.
