Baita Dolomiti Bellamonte

Cosy mountain chalet in a secluded location with open fireplace and sauna. Enjoy the quiet location, surrounded by meadows and forests, and the fantastic view of the mountain world of the Dolomites. The entrance to the TOP skiing area Dolomiti Superski is only about 5 minutes away by car.

The chalet was built in the regional style and was lovingly and traditionally furnished with lots of wooden furniture, which immediately creates a warm and friendly feel-good atmosphere. The heart of the chalet is the living and dining area on the ground floor with the large, open fireplace in the centre. Relax in front of the fire in the armchair or bench after a day of skiing. There is also a double bed in a small alcove. In the dining area there is enough space for 9 people at the large wooden table. The kitchen is open to the living room and has a traditional wood-burning cooker, which can also be used for cooking and baking in addition to the gas cooker (wood included). From the living room you can access the spacious 20 m² terrace (partly covered) with furniture, deck chairs and barbecue.
On the same floor there is a bedroom with a double bed. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower/WC and an additional separate WC on this floor.
On the upper floor, there is another living area with sofas and TV on an open gallery.
The bedroom under the roof on the top floor has two double beds and one single bed.
In the sauna in the basement you can relax and unwind your muscles after an active day. Ski room, bicycle storage room and laundry room with washing machine available.

There are four parking spaces directly at the chalet.
Note: Access to the chalet approx. 150 m on a gravel road; use at your own risk. In winter, winter tyres and snow chains necessary depending on conditions.

The traditional and peaceful mountain village of Bellamonte is about 3.8 km away. In this idyllic village there is a grocery and sports shop as well as a few restaurants/bars. The popular resort of Predazzo with its historic old town is approx. 9.7 km away. Here you will find numerous shops, sports shops/ski rental, a bank, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafés.

Ski info
Chalet altitude ~1,420 m, ski area up to 3,342 m, with glacier Marmolada. Distance to the modern 10-person gondola lift, the slopes as well as to the ski school approx. 3.4 km, in the area Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia - Moena. The ski area Val di Fiemme - Latemar in approx. 11 km away, with 120 km of pistes and wonderful downhill runs along striking rock formations. There are also snow parks, toboggan runs and an extensive cross-country skiing network with a total of 150 km of trails. Distance to the skiing area Passo San Pellegrino with 67.5 km of pistes and 1.5 km of ski routes is also approx. 11 km. The entrance to the famous Sella Ronda, in Pozza di Fassa, is about 26 km away. The Dolomiti Superski ski region offers a total of 1,200 km of slopes. The ski area, which extends over the Italian provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Veneto, comprises 12 different ski regions, all of which can be accessed with one single ski pass. Most of the areas are located at alpine heights above 1,500 metres; thus Dolomiti Superski is a ski paradise of absolute superlatives.

Summer info
The chalet has a 20 m² terrace (partly covered) as well as a garden and offers furniture, deck chairs and an outdoor barbecue. The sunny holiday region is the starting point for numerous hiking, cycling or mountain bike tours. Other leisure activities include climbing tours, rafting and canoeing. Excursions to the Val di Fassa, Val Gardena and the Catinaccio are also very worthwhile. Wellness centres and spas offer relaxation. Beautiful walks as well as sport fishing are possible at the Lago di Forte Buso reservoir (~1.5 km). Bathing lake in ~7 km, golf course in ~35 km.
