Chalet altitude ~1025 m; top of the lifts 3.842 m – Aiguille du Midi. The Les Houches ski area is located in the Chamonix valley, ~7 km from the world capital of skiing and mountaineering. The domain "Les Houches/Saint-Gervais - Prarion/Bellevue (Chamonix)" is part of the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc ski area, which consists of 9 ski resorts with 152 km of pistes and 47 ski lifts. There are over 50 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails. Good connections between ski resorts by bus or train. From the top of Les Houches ski area, there is an exceptional 360° panorama of the Mont Blanc massif. Lifts are open from approx. end of November until first week of May in the valley's highest ski area of Argentière - Grands Montets. There are spectacular freeride routes but also comfortable ski slopes for the whole family, e.g. in Les Houches or Le Tour.
