Situation at the cable car of l'Aiguille du Midi and only a few minutes walk from the lively centre of Chamonix (~500 m). There, you will find many restaurants, pubs, shops, cinema, casino, museums, several ski schools, nursery, banks, indoor swimming pool and much more.
Access to the skiing area is at approx. 1 km. Bus stop in ~50 m.
Chamonix is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the most beautiful tourist areas: the Montenvers light railway takes you to the Mer de Glace, while the l'Aiguille du Midi cable car takes you to the most beautiful peaks.

Chalet altitude ~1040 m; top of the lifts 3.842 m – Aiguille du Midi; 152 km ski slopes, 47 ski lifts. The area Brévent/Flégère (Chamonix) is part of the ski area Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, which consists of 9 ski resorts. Good connections between the ski resorts by bus or train. Over 50 kilometres of prepared cross-country skiing trails available. The "Vallee Blanche" is a world-famous, breathtaking ski run through a landscape of glaciers (2800 meter of vertical drop, length 20 km; but not marked and a guide is essential). Lifts are open from approx. end of November until first week of May in the valley's highest ski area of Argentière - Grands Montets. There are spectacular freeride routes but also comfortable ski slopes for the whole family, e.g. in Les Houches or Le Tour.
