Chalet Acacia is situated in the heart of the old town centre of Saint Marcel; an old lovingly renovated house made from natural stone, that is divided into 3 cosy apartments. The 4 person apartment with a living area of 62m² is located on the ground floor of the house, in which a infrared sauna (with a shower, washbasin and WC) is also available for all of the chalet's occupants. Above this lie the two 10 person apartments each with a living area of 100m², which span both the 1st and 2nd floor. These apartments are accessible with an external staircase. The apartments can also be combined and rented for 14, 20 and 24 persons. The ground floor and the first upper floor are connected, but only by the chalet's external staircase. All 3 apartments' features include a fireplace (including firewood), satellite TV, towel dryer in the bathrooms and their own ski-closet with a ski-boot dryer. 4 private parking spaces (free of charge) are also available beside the house, there are further complimentary parking places close to the house.
You can easily use the free ski-shuttlebus that starts roughly 150 m away from the chalet, to reach Saint Martin, which is about 1km away, where the nearest lift station, shops, restaurants, bars and official valley slope are located. An unofficial and relatively easy piste, which is even partly marked, also leads directly into the small idyllic mountain village above Saint Martin. From Saint-Marcel, a winter footpath leads slightly downwards to Saint-Martin, which can also be used with skis, depending on the conditions (no marked or groomed slope; at your own risk).
Incidentally a high-end restaurant is also located directly in Saint Marcel. The "La Bouitte" has already been awarded with 2 Michelin stars and is therefore considered to be an insider's tip among gourmets.
