The cosy chalet Balcons Acacia arose from an old natural stone house in the original centre of the small idyllic mountain village of Saint Marcel. The occupants can enjoy a spectacular view across the entire Belleville Valley and as far as Val Thorens and the 3 Vallees' glaciers from the house's 3 balconies. The chalet, which provides enough space for up to 18 persons with a living area of 190m and 3 floors, and its furnishings ensure a pleasant stay. Each of the 8 bedrooms comes with en-suite (incl. towel dryer and toilet) and the occupants can also relax in the in-house sauna. The large dining room as well as the comfortable living area are furnished with a fireplace and a satellite TV. Furthermore, a stereo system with CD player, a washing machine and a ski-closet with ski-boots dryer are included in the chalet's inventory. Firewood and 3 private parking spaces by the house are included in the price.
You can easily use the free ski-shuttlebus that starts roughly 150 m away from the chalet, to reach Saint Martin, which is about 1 km away, where the nearest lift station, shops, restaurants, bars and official valley slope are located. An unofficial and relatively easy piste, which is even partly marked, also leads directly into the small idyllic mountain village above Saint Martin. From Saint-Marcel, a winter footpath leads slightly downwards to Saint-Martin, which can also be used with skis, depending on the conditions (no marked or groomed slope; at your own risk).
Incidentally a high-end restaurant is also located directly in Saint Marcel. The "La Bouitte" has already been awarded with 2 Michelin stars and is therefore considered to be an insider's tip among gourmets.
