Exclusive luxury chalet in the top ski area 3 Vallées with fireplace, free WiFi and spacious spa area with sauna, whirlpool and steam bath. Enjoy the alpine-modern ambience with stylish interiors and high-quality furnishings, combined with the typical regional construction with wood and stone. All bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom as well as a television.
On the 1st floor is the large and bright living and dining area with panoramic windows, great fireplace, sofa lounge and comfortable armchairs. Access to the balcony. The open kitchen is fully equipped and invites you to share evenings of cooking together; small bar with bar stools. The dining table can comfortably seat 14 people. There are also 2 bedrooms on this floor. 4 more bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. From the corridor you can access the mezzanine (with door) with a bedroom and bathroom. Relax in the spa area on the ground floor, which consists of a sauna, a team bath, a jacuzzi and a massage shower.
Chalet Matangie is ideally located to the ski area, and yet still away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the large ski resort in the quiet mountain hamlet of Les Ménuires-Praranger. The entire ski area can be reached in a few minutes by free ski bus to Les Ménuires centre or by car to the Bettaix chairlift.
In the centre of Les Ménuires there are covered shopping arcades, restaurants, Irish pub, supermarket, internet café, nightclub, modern multi-sports centre/ indoor pool/ sauna, ice rink, ski school, child care.

Altitude chalet 1,650 m; altitude ski area up to 3,200 m with glacier; 600 km of slopes, 172 ski lifts. Les 3 Vallées is the largest ski area in the world - there are no wishes left unfulfilled. Closest access to the ski area by 4-seater chairlift 'Le Bettaix', approx. 1,5 km. It terminates above Les Ménuires, with connection to Val Thorens and Méribel. Alternatively, you can start directly in Les Ménuires center, about 3 km. Return to Le Bettaix on blue - easy - ski slope. Freeride run possible up to near the chalet (no marked or prepared ski run; use at own risk). Bellevilletal cross-country ski trail ~1,5 km. Ski season from about the end of November to the beginning of May (Val Thorens section).

- Free ski pass for arrivals 06.12.2025, 3.1., 10.1. + 21.3.2026: buy 4 ski passes for the entire 3 Vallées area and you will get the 5th for free (when buying different ski pass types, the cheapest one is free, no combination with 40 EUR discount, not valid for family ski passes); only for guests of Alpenchalets.
- Family ski passes ("Family Flex") are only valid for a minimum of 3 people, including a maximum of 2 adults (18-74 years) and at least 1 child (5-17 years), same ski area and same duration.

- Orders are possible until 10 days before arrival..
One ski pass booking (total invoice) is possible per accommodation booking.
You will receive the invoice by e-mail.
Payment of ski passes by bank transfer up to 2 weeks before departure or immediately in case of short-term bookings (no deposit).
Approx. 1 week before arrival you will receive your ski pass coupon to be presented at the lift cash desk via e-mail.
- The order of ski passes can be cancelled or changed free of charge until Tuesday before arrival.
