Méribel (1450m)

The 3 Valleys | Savoie Mont Blanc | France
Founded in 1938 by a British officer, Méribel with its main districts Méribel Village and Mottaret lies in the middle of the 3 Valleys surrounded by coniferous forests. Both districts are built in a traditional style and mesh with its chalet-style buildings perfectly with the surrounding mountains, so that the Alpine charme can be felt even in the modern district of Mottaret. Snow conditions are excellent well into spring due to the situation on 1450m to 1700m. Thanks to an ideal ski-lift connection with the Belleville- and Courchevel-valley in either direction the world biggest connected ski area is right at your doorstep. Also the Méribel valley itself offers multifaceted pistes, wide snowscape and the ideal downhill ski-run for any skier. For après-ski you will benefit from the numerous facilities built for the Olympic Games in 1992: pedestrian areas, several fitness centres, a large number of restaurants in any price range and for any taste, bars and English pubs as well as countless other leisure activities.

There are several ski schools in Méribel, you can find inspiring lessons in English with British Instructors at Parallel Lines Ski and Snowboard School as well as private lessons in English at Ski Excel Private Ski Instructors.

Discounts of up to 45% on ski and snowboard rental are available at our partner company SKISET Méribel. You can book online directly on SKISET Méribel.
